Come and learn how to create and maintain community & school gardens, integrate gardening into the school curriculum, network with local and interstate community gardeners, and hear how gardens can contribute to a better world.
We have some great workshops and guest speakers as part of the program including presenters from the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies (CERES in Melbourne), Steve Solomon, David Stephen, Della Cooper from the Permaculture Association, Nel Smit from Woodbridge School, community gardeners from around the State and more.
When: Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 November 2007
Time: 9:00am - 4:30pm on Saturday 10 November and 10:00am-1:00pm on Sunday 11 November.
Cost:
$45.00 per person includes morning & afternoon tea, & lunch on Saturday and the gardens tour on Sunday.
$25.00 part time employed.
$15.00 concession holders and students.
$10.00 Sunday only and children under 10 years of age.
