The PDC at Djanbung Gardens covers the full 72 hour international PDC curriculum, addressing all major climatic zones (temperate, sub-tropic, tropical and arid) , urban and rural applications. Special attention is given to climatic zones and contexts represented by course participants. The PDC 2-week intensive is followed by the optional 3-day Flexible Learning Orientation Workshop and Assessment Day for gaining units of competency towards APT Cert III, Cert IV and Diploma - this workshop is also available to people who have previously completed a PDC seeking professional design skills or wishing to gain an APT qualification through the Flexible Learning program. Skills training includes: information services, client communications, drawing and drafting skills, reading & preparing maps and plans, report writing, bills of quantity and implementation planning.
