This TAA Cert IV course presents a creative facilitation approach to vocational training. Delivered in three parts it completes the AQF qualification TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, required by trainers of AQF accredited courses nationally.

This TAA course is ideal for those working in creative, community, healing and sustainability industries and for those wanting to teach the Accredited Permaculture Training™ (APT). Part 1 and 2 of the course is conducted as an intensive 8-day training program, at Djanbung Gardens. PART 1 covers the assessment competencies and skills and information needed to work within Vocational Education and Training and includes an introduction to APT and how APT works. This section will be taught by Robyn Francis, member of the National Reference Group that developed APT. Robyn is conducting heer 3rd year of APT Cert III & IV at Djanbung Gardens and has taught permaculture internationally for over 22 years. PART 2 focuses on Learning Design, Delivery and Facilitation, with delivery in the context of Robin Clayfield’s ‘Dynamic Groups’ model of Creative Facilitation. Participants will be immersed in Creative Processes, Group Involvement, ‘Learning By Doing’ and Interactive Learning Methods and come out of the training with a Toolbox of ideas, strategies and processes to use in their own Learning Environments. Part 2 is taught by Robin Clayfield, well known Permaculture educator and facilitator, who adapted her ‘Dynamic Groups’ Creative facilitation workshop to deliver and meet the competency requirements of the delivery units of the old AWT CERT IV as Creative Adult Learning Facilitation presented nine times over two years to Permaculture Trainers and Community Services workers. Robyn has worked extensively teaching Permaculture since 1989 and training Permaculture teachers globally since 1992. PART 3 assignments to be completed within 3 months of the residential intensive.
